The Problem
Channel 4 were about to launch one of their biggest dramas in years. They needed a campaign that would cut through the noise and stand out against the competition. 4creative took this to the extreme and instead of marketing the show they advertised one of the products in the show. As if it was real, 4Creative and OMD bought to life a synthetic humans brand called Persona Synthetics and that's where we stepped in with our Microsoft technology.
The Solution

Campaign Overview

In May 2015, a shop mysteriously popped up on Regent Street.  The shop front heralded the arrival of Persona Synthetics a brand of highly developed robotic servants or 'Synths'

Within the storefront two interactive screens showcased 'Synth' models that employed sophisticated Microsoft Kinect technology to track and interact with their audience, mimicking and reacting to their movements.

My Role
Alongside the strategist, I created and delivered the winning pitch. This was a lengthy back and forth process with the client and agencies as the core idea and shopfront proposal were constantly in flux and being shaped by our technical proposals. I was also responsible for the scoping, production partner on boarding, managing the internal team (including design work with the incredibly talented designer Tutu El-Kashef), the installation, derig and following presentation roadshow.
This project was completed while I was employeed by Microsoft.
